Action Required: Create a Heroku Account

Before you can use Heroku to deploy and manage your applications, you need to create a Heroku account. Follow these steps to sign up for Heroku:

Open a web browser and go to the Heroku website: https://signup.heroku.com/
Click on the "Sign up" button to create an account.
To complete your account setup, click on the avatar icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select "Account settings" from the dropdown menu.
In the account settings page, you can add additional information to your profile. More importantly, go to the "Billing" section and click on "Add credit card." Adding a credit card is required when signing up for any cloud provider, and is initially used to verify your account. You won't be charged unless you choose to use paid services. Don't worry, if you follow the steps in my video, you will be charged a negligible amount (maximum 10 cents), if anything at all.
Enter your credit card details and click "Save card" to complete the billing setup.

Once your Heroku account is fully set up, your next action is to set up the Heroku CLI in order to start deploying and managing applications on the platform.
